MasterCard Secure Code
May, 2007
Dear Debit Card Customer,
In the past we had encouraged
you to sign up for MasterCard Secure Code to help
protect against unauthorized Internet transactions. MasterCard is now requiring
all MasterCard users to sign up. MasterCard Secure Code is a private code that
protects you against unauthorized use of your debit card when
shopping online at
participating merchants.
Every time you pay online at
a participating merchant with your Keystone
Savings Bank debit card you
will be automatically prompted to enter your own
private Secure Code, just like entering a PIN at the
ATM. With MasterCard
Secure Code, only you and the
people you designate can make online purchases
using your debit card at participating merchants.
If you haven’t signed up
already, choosing your own private Secure Code is
quick and easy. You
can visit https://secure.shazam.net/SecureCode/
and
enroll your card by following the simple steps. Or after approximately Monday,
June 25th the next
time you shop at a participating merchant online you will be
prompted to create your own Secure Code prior to
checkout. When this happens,
a window from SHAZAM will appear and you will be guided
through the simple
process before your purchase is completed. Once you have created your private
Secure Code you must use it
for future purchases at participating online Merchants.
We have included a list of frequently
asked questions and please feel free to
call us at 800-539-3210.
